Private London Club Offers Covid Vaccines Abroad

As the UK Covid vaccine rollout progresses a private London club is reportedly offering clients the option to fly overseas for the immunisation.

UK based private concierge service Knightsbridge Circle is apparently flying members of the £25,000 a year club to the UAE and India to receive the Covid jab.

The Coronavirus vaccination is being administered at private clincs in India and Dubai.

Clients are being flown to these locations where they receive the first vaccine and then stay in-country until they are ready to receive the second jab.

A majority of the clubs members are UK based, but many have multiple nationalities and homes around the globe.

Club founder Stuart McNeill when questioned about the ethics of this approach states :

“I feel that everybody who has access to private healthcare should be able to be vaccinated – as long as we offer it to the right people. My team is in India and the UAE to make sure that the person who has requested it is the person that receives it. It’s lives saved.”

Currently UK based private healthcare providers and clinics do not have government approval to administer the vaccine despite UK government sources stating that their are no supply issues.

The club have stated that they have Harley Street clinics at the ready to inoculate people as soon as it is legal.

Latest statistics on the rollout of the vaccine indicate that those countries that have involved public and private sector health care providers are leading the vaccine rollout race.

Private clinics have capacity to accelerate the rollout but are being constrained by current government policy.

Private clinics cannot even offer their trained staff for free to help with the vaccine effort since many of them are not ex-NHS employees or due to legal issues with employmenrt contracts.
